Some Thoughts of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru

• Humanity hungers for real peace; crises follow – it is war or preparation for war
• No nation can isolate itself from the political, economic fate of other nations
• Co-operation can only make the world live
• Co-operation can only be on a basis of equality and mutual welfare
• No nation will tolerate domination, by whatever name called; nor will they be indifferent to their own poverty and misery
• Need to break the complex of religion, profit motive, racial superiority, empire and expansion as prerogatives; or success in war brings no great change
